   Clobazam for anxiety (Anxiety board)

7th June 2008
Clobazam (Frisium) is a long acting, low sedating benzo.

More widely used in Europe that the US, UJ, or Austrlia

To replace 2mg. Alprazolam, you would need probably 3 or 4 of the 10mg Frisium tablets, over a few weeks, you could cut it back to perhaps 2.

Long acting benzos like clobazam or even good old dizaepam are less addictive than alprazolam, and because you dont get periods of time during the day where the drug begins to wear off, they can give smootehr control of anxiety.
