Is he able to take the medicine by mouth? If not he may need some form of the drugs above in suppository form, my fil was receiving chemotherapy and they gave him a new anti-nausea drug iv called Aloxi which worked wonders during the chemotherapy, not sure if this is an option for your friend or not but maybe.
