Whats wrong with me?? I have had this problem for 7 months now and everyday is the same. It sucks. Anyways it started after going scuba diving for the first time, I have had ear infections when I was younger but until a little while I was fine. I kinda knew somthing was going wrong on my last dive when things started to felt kinda boucy when I walked, this feeling had resolved its self after a week but since then has reoccured a couple of times. I then started having these wierd almost like anxiety attacks one day out of the blue during class at school, I didnt know why?? but now the things I used to do like drive a car or anything else for that matter may trigger an attack. Since from the start of this I have also felt like I am in a fog or just my eyes arent focused right and it gives me a feeling of light headedness. Next a month into this I began to notice frequent spasms taking place in my left ear only, not only just randomly but also in reaction to certain noises like talking or the clinging of silverware. Later on my ears started to get this pain inside the ears and when they act up its wierd becuase the pitch of the ring changes I get a little off balance and it feels like my ears contract on the inside like when you get an eyetwitch. It also feels like Ive had this lump in my throat and my nasel area in the back of my throat feels like its swollen but when the docs look they say "all normall". Since then My ears go from the annoying crackling sound it makes to a deep pop sound when I swallow, then it goes away after an hour or so. Three months into it with after getting no where with doctors my ears started to ring really loud, much louder in the left ear though. When this happend I started feeling a little more off balance. Over time it got better. Ive been on Methylprednisolone, meclyzine, allegra D, flonase just to name a few and still no such luck. Right now I am waiting for the results of my latest MRI of the head and AU. But atleast im getting somwhere with this. I failed basic ear test and when the ENT looked into my ears he saw lots of wax which wasnt there before. When he removed it my inner out ear was very very sore and he also desicoved I had fluid behind both of my ear drums when in a peviouse visit they found nothing and I passed the test, so its a start. The ENT says my ears are playing tricks on them. Let me know what you guys think.
