Wasp Sting (Open to All Health Related Topics board)

3rd June 2005
Hi. I was recently stung by a wasp (Thursday- about 2:00pm). Now, almost a day and a half later the site is still red, slightly tender, VERY itchy, and slightly warm to the touch. I already take Allegra 180 for allergies so I didn't want to take bendrly. On the affected site I first used a baking soda and water mix and today I have been using Aclovate cream (a prescription used for rashes- I had it filled for my allergies).... but it still itchs sooo bad.

This is the first wasp sting Ive ever had- if anyone can share their experience- how long the redness lasted- was their site also extremely itchy and slightly warm - I would appreciate it!

Thanks
Sara
