Hi, I would suggest getting to a doctor soon for testing, and hopefully a shot of antihistamine or adrenaline to help the itching.
It could be something you ate, or even a medication you're taking. Anything new as of the last few days?
If it's food, don't wait too long before seeing the doctor (or get to a hospital and get dealt with there). Blood tests will at least give them some sort of idea of what's happening.
So you happen to have any problems with your liver? Are the whites of your eyes or your skin a bit yellow? Jaundice or hepatitis could be a possibility.
I know of a woman who has a polyester allergy!! Hard to get away from that stuff.....
I sure hope you are able to find out what the problem is. Have you tried to take Benadryl or Allegra, or something that is an antihistamine to stop the cycle? You're obviously reacting to something.
If you're bathing....don't, have a short shower with soap only on the areas that need soap, don't use it on your torso, arms or legs. Don't have a really hot one, and apply moisturiser without drying completely off. That will help a bit more. I have itchy skin lately (but it's been cold and dry here). I use Lubriderm sensitive lotion slathered on.
For the eczema spots I use cortisone cream. I'm not suggesting that, but I hope that a doctor can sort you out.
Have you changed your laundry soap or fabric conditioner lately? Do you use the fabric dryer sheets (don't use these)? If it's an allergy to that, there are some available without fragrance that work well.
Hope it's short-lived.
Get better soon!
