It's probably the "D" part of the Allegra-D that's making you feel jumpy. Pseudoephedrine can have that effect on people. There is regular Allegra without the decongestant, so maybe you could ask your doctor for that instead? Or, you can always try regular Claritin, which is over-the-counter. There are many remedies available; there's no reason to be uncomfortable.
