My allergist wants me to take Doxepin for my severe allergies. However, he didnt' tell me that the drug is an antidepressant. (I am a little peeved to be honest). The side effects are horrible; sedative mostly. Have any of you tried Doexpin :confused: ?

(I have tried Allegra-D, Claritin and Zyrtec, but my throat keeps closing up).
