I have had this lump feeling in my throat a few years ago. I went to a eye/nose/throat specialist. He said that what the problem was, was sinus drainage, and it was going into my throat, and kind of sticking in there.

Now, I have never, ever had a sinus problem before. Don't have sinus headaches or anything. He gave me some Allegra-D to dry up the mucous. After a week or so, this feeling completely went away.

We always think of the worst (cancer). Try not to! Ask your doctor about the sinus drainage.
