I broke out from birth control majorly... that's why I wasn't on it for the longest time. I was on Diane 35 at first and it made my face so bad and then I tried Alesse and it did the exact same thing. I would usually put up with this for 3 months tops. I went to a dermo to try and go on accutane and he told me that first off, I would have to take birth control (Diane 35) no matter what, if I wanted to be on accutane and secondly it can take up to 6 months for birth control to effect acne.
