Ive been using prescribed Aldara for oh 3-4 weeks now for external genital warts under the head of my penis, on the under side. There are only a few small ones..6-7. The doctor said it would take up to 16 weeks altogether but my personal condition shouldnt take long at all. Well, Ive been using it to no effects so far. I understand it could take much longer for any, thats ok..Now my question is I know side effects include rash, skin irritation etc. I have been getting a rash but it is not on the site that I use the cream rather I have been getting rashes on my scortum pretty much wear my penis lies down on it. I use the cream on the underside so it is laying down on the scortum but the side effects are never on the spot I actually PUT the cream. I am rubbing it in all the way and its not like cream is getting rubbed off on my scrotum but thats where I get the rashes? Is this just happening because maybe the skin there is more sensitive and is in contact with the skin I use the cream on or what? Its making me think Im not using the stuff right or something, and with the cost of the stuff, I really dont need that.
