Update: I just switched back to my old dermatologist and he is having me apply Aldara to the spot and one other in the same area. He said there is a 50% chance I can get rid of it this way. If this doesn't work then I will have it removed surgically. Worth a try so I was thrilled to try something new. We also found 2 more spots in my hairline so we are watching those for growth. He thinks they may be a type of noncancerous mole.
