   Tell your story!!! (Acne board)

Wow...reading all these just goes to show you that no one treatment will work for everyone. I've tried it all (except Accutane, do NOT want to try that!) and I hopefully have finally found an acceptable combo for me. I wash twice daily with Neutragena Blackhead Eliminating Scrub. I apply Clindagel (topical antibiotic) in the a.m. and Differin gel in the p.m. I also take Aldactone orally twice daily. That stuff is great for reducing oiliness. Sure wish I didn't have to mess with any of this but it is nice to have clear skin.

32 going on 17, male. had mild acne since 21. just typed this three page response and lost it. DAMN! so this one is going to be short.

check The Body Shop's "Tea Tree Oil" product line [ removed ]. Specifically for oil and blemish control. I used the scrub. Works well. I went and picked up the cleansing gel, pure tea tree and wipes. i may have gone overboard. too much irritation. i'll let you all know what worked and didn't.

I've been on benzaclin for almost a year. works decent but bleaches the heck out of pillow cases, sheets, comforters, shirts, etc. use with caution. my wife is mad at me now for ruining her comforter.

what i always notice with people with perfect skin is this, their skin is DRY. Not oily! I read one post about Aldactone orally for oil control? Anyone try this?

NIVEA also has a new oil control cleansor. Works well.

Nivea, Tea Tree Scrub and benzaclin. We'll see. Tea Tree Scrub says only twice a week.

I noticed too that the oceans salt water helps clear my skin up. need to find a way to have it delivered to my house. good business opp.

anyone know of any oral treatments to treat oily skin?
