I also have periods of diffuculty breathing, seemingly for no apparant reason. It is much worse at night - i wake up gasping for air and cant sleep. I mentioned this to my GP who said I have "bronchial spasms". She prescribed me Albuterol and it works soooooooooooooooooo well. It seriously helps right away.
