I get the chills about 7 times an hour now or so. I am not cold, but these chills are so intense they almost hurt, then I have to shake it off.

I have asthma, I take flovent, albuterol, effexor and ativan.

Anyone aware of what this could be or if it is a side effect from meds?

yes. it makes sense, but
i am on a pretty regular amount of Albuterol and Flovent. I don't really take decongestants or much of anything I am not prescribed as it seems to make my asthma worse.
