A friend is in a pickle:
Her husband in his mid-50's:
[QUOTE]DH has complete occlusion of the
proximal left internal carotid artery and is meeting with a surgeon early
August.
The Sx is 50-50 meaning 50% chance of massive stroke. His family doc has
advised him not to have the Sx.
He is on Aggrenox since he started with TIA's, none since so far.
(DH means hear husband and Sx means surgical prognosis.)
What would you tell her?
