Just a little update on my condition. I went last night and I had been coughing so bad I was throwing up ... which I made quite a witty remark.. when the nurse asked if I was bringing anything up with my cough I said only my dinner. lol.

So my doctor gave me some iv fluids, told me two more days off from work, gave me a stronger antibiotic (because now I have an ear infection as well! GREAT!) and advair for the breathing troubles, as well as robatussin with codene.

As the day has progressed, I have actually started to feel worse and my throat hurts and my fever has risen. My doctor wanted me to call her tomorrow if I'm not feeling better and I think that I will. It's bad but I'm almost to the point where I just wish they'd admit me to the hospital so I could get iv fluids and meds because what I'm on now isn't cutting it.


I'm so thankful for where I work. I of course had doctors notes saying that I was sick, but I was talking to my manager just a few minutes ago and she was saying not to worry about it and that everyone gets sick and just make sure to take it easy and feel better soon. I'm really lucky.. as well as the fact that my mom and my friends are taking really good care of me. Sorry.. I get sappy when I'm sick.. lol
