Hi everyone,
Instant rejuvenation! I saw my doctor on Tuesday and she took me off lisinopril –maybe because my bp was up a bit. I decided to clear my system of the drug (my daughter in law who is a doctor said it would be all right to be without tablets for a few days) and haven’t started on the new drug yet. The terrible lassitude in the afternoon disappeared immediately and I no longer wanted to go to bed at 9. 45 pm.
A bit of research showed me that the lisinopril + diarrhoea could produce the attack like the one I had in Church. I wasn’t suffering from diarrhoea but the effect of the laxative given by the doctor had the same result! The tingling has almost gone and although I still have a cough it is no longer so productive and I don’t sound as if I have chronic bronchitis. I don’t think the sleep disturbance is completely cured so I will take half a pill tonight and keep my fingers crossed. I’ll start the new pills tomorrow and hope for the best. I used to swim ½ mile up to 5 times a week but haven’t been in the water since September so lisinopril must have affected my general fitness. I hope this helps someone. My new drug is Adalat retard 10,
Love to you all,
