No problems Singer. I'm touched though that you replied. :angel: But it is shingles. They started me on Acyclovir and the nurse said it was okay to double up on my pain meds. The first thing I asked was it going to delay my chemo and the answer was "most certainly, my body can't handle much more".

I'm just so miserable right now and that's putting it lightly. I just hope the doubling up on pain meds will knock me out :(

I'm so sorry. I was hoping it was something else.
I've been on Acyclovir since the very beginning.
I'm actually mad at my GP, because I believe I should've been on a maintenance-type drug like that, for years. My immune system was taking a beating...that would've helped.....but, that's water down the drain.
At least you know what it is, and can take measures to improve it.
Get some rest, dear, and stop worrying.
I'll say a special prayer for you tonight.
