They have 500mg ER Metformin also. You could take 1000mg in the morning and 500mg at night w/ meals. You may also need to add another med in addition to the Metformin. I'm currently on Metformin ER and Actos myself.

Actos 30mg. 1 time daily. You can find more info at [COLOR="Blue"]http://www.actos.com/actos/home.aspx. I will say that it is expensive though. I don't have any insurance and it cost me about $225 a month just for the Actos. They have Actomet also, it is Actos and Metformin in one. Might be something you could check into.
