[QUOTE=roadfamily6now;2714065]what do you do when changing diet, exercise and adjusting your meds just aren't working???
12 long years we have all be struggling with DH's type 1 diabetes. Still, we cannot keep the levels consistant and he is overly frustrated.
UGH, just venting. He is having a really hard week and today his A1C came back at 11.7 and also his cholesterol is high along with elevated blood pressure. Poor guy is only 34.
i have type II diabetes, i take 5 x 500mg methformin, one actos, 4 x 50mg glicazide, one satvin? and a few others but the lowest reading i get before breakfast is 10-13 everyday it has never gone below that. Anyone with any ideas? i do not to end up like my mate who also had diabetes he ended up losing his eyesight then his kidneys sadly he is dead now.
