I do not have the same type problems the rest of you do, but Limbrel is definitely helping me.
I have inflammation all over my body, feet, knees, thighs, groin, hips, rotater cuffs, upper arms, wrists, hands, all fingers and thumbs. I have Plantar Faciitis in both feet caused by taking Actonel for osteoporosis.
Thought I would need to have another steroid injection in one knee to bring it under control, but after taking Limbrel 2 weeks I could tell a difference for the better. The knee would bend again, less swollen, almost straighten out. Had been walking with a semi-bent knee.
Before taking Limbrel getting up from a chair was agony/pain in the groin area as well as other places (felt like I was going to crack/break in the groin area). After 3 months of Limbrel I now can get up like a normal person without pain. The inflammation in all areas has improved, not the cure, but no longer need to take Tylenol.
Diagnosis was not osteoarthritis, they keep saying inflammation. The thumbs and fingers have stenosing tendonsyvitis (tendonitis or trigger thumb). The cortisone injection in thumb that locks has worn off and I will need to have surgery to enlarge the tunnel the knoted tendon slides thru.
The explanation I was given as to how Limbrel works is that it blocks the enzymes that cause inflammation. Limbrel is made from 2 different tropical trees, not a chemical mixture made in a lab.
I have had no side effects to my knowlege. If Limbrel continues to clear the inflammation in my body, I might be able to live a normal pain-free life again.
