I have an issue with bone loss in my mouth, as well as teeth problems (due to a bone and joint disease), but I don't have Perio.

I do have osteoperosis though. I have a bone scan and checks to see how bad it's worsening each year. I'm supposed to be on Fosamax and/or Actonel, but the side effects turn me into a painful vegetable for the duration of the week.

I'm 27 now and was 1st diagnosed with Osteoperosis when I was 22, Penia when I was 17.
