I had decided to start Remicade, but found out my insurance would not cover it so i started Humira this past week. I can actually tell a little bit of a difference..i haven't felt as stiff and it has been really cold and rainy. Yeah, i am concerned about these meds suppressing my immune system, but i don't have much of a choice. I have been really lucky so far and haven't had any problems with any of the meds i have been put on except for Actonel. It made my right leg hurt. I had both hips replaced in 2001, four months apart from each other and they are doing great. I would definitely consider it. I only go for yearly check-ups now. You have to be careful bending and crossing your legs, but other than that it is so worth it! I had no pain after surgery except for the incision...it was so much relief.
