I've been there with the guilty feelings. And when I was using Duragesic and Actiq I did feel badly about the cost and the insurance. I mean, that was thousands of dollars every 30 days and I'm only 52.
Now I'm on MS Contin and liquid oxycodone for BT pain, which costs much, much less but I still carry some guilt for being on these meds, and being at the dosage I am at. There's this small voice in me that tells me I shouldn't be on narcotics and it's wrong. I find this a very hard guilt to escape.
Anyway, I think I know how you feel.
