I will start out by apologizing for the length, but I really need advice. I am at a point where I am considering dentures. I am only 26. But I have a lot of problems. I had one dentist say it looks like I did not have flouridated water growing up. I will start out by saying I have had 2 teeth on top pulled and 4 on teh bottom pulled, plus wisdom teeth. Two of the ones on the bottom had to be pulled because I had a growth on the bone and they were unable to get to it without doing both teeth. But now I am in need of approx. 5-6 root canals/crowns and probably 15-20 fillings. I only have about $700 left on my insurance. I just joined one of those discount plans but I don't know how much it will help. The ones that need the root canals/crowns are the front top ones. One I am afraid too much has broken off and I will just have to have it pulled and a parcel put in. The reason they are so bad is 1. Genetics--my mom has horrible teeth and so did my grandmother. My dad and brother both have beautiful teeth. 2. I was on a medicine when I was a teenager that caused me to have osteoporosis and damaged my teeth, and 3. I am now on a med called Actiq which is a oral logenze, you suck on it like a sucker, and it has alot of sugar in it. So I try to drink alot after taking them, and brush right after taking them but it doesn't seem to be working to much.

I don't know what to do....I just want to have a pretty smile. I have a 3 year old little girl (I really hope she gets her daddys teeth) I hate when people want to take our picture because I don't want to smile And I look mad if I am not smiliing.

Whats a girl to do? I am willing to get dentures, but what would the price be on those? I am stuck either way. I have been out of work due to a disability for 14 months now,a nd my husband tries so hard to keep everything up, but we just don't have the money for something like this. So we wait, and my teeth get worse every day. :blob_fire

I would greatly appreciate any advice, or resources. Any doctors that will let you make payments? I am even willing to do paperwork in their office or something, lol. thanks for all your help.
