What exactly is doctor shopping? Can you get arrested for it?
I was getting oxy / actiq and tramadol from one doctor for years. I was also getting a small rx for tramadol from my family physician. After a fracture, the orthopaedic wrote an rx for hydrocodone. Well anyways....the pharmacy got wind and called everyone. The family physician said he won't treat me anymore and the PM doc said they could only treat for 1 month.

Is this doctor shopping?.....all were for different 'conditions'.
