I also take oxycotin 80 mgrams . and then my sleeping meds plus my muscle relaxers and then for the breakout pain I take Actiq whitch it REAlly helps me but I only take that when the pain gets to the point where nothing esle does it ..Ive been thru .. pt manytime ,, traction /weights/tens unit/exeriing/biofeedback /hypnosisi that help me for 1 1/2 .. I love it . at first I had never bewlieve in it but I Do now .. and the only thing that I will not even consider is um.. appruture .Quote from onyxgates:It all started from lifting heavy boxes Oct 2003. I have had lots of back issues since I was in my teens but never this long and this bad. Usually physical therapy did the trick! As for not lifting my son. I am a part-time stay at home mom and my son is only 12 months. Makes it hard not to lift him!!! I am taking vicoprofen which is has Ibuprofin in it and not tylennol. My doctor had me on regular vicoden and then 2-3 ibuprofin twice daily. I felt like that was too much and decided that combinning the two would work out better.
Do you take anything for the pain? Are you in physical therapy? How soon will you be able to get the surgery?
until i hear from you later u in my prayers and thoughts please take care and god bless
