I Have LOTS of tests on the way but am glad cause I so desperately want help/relief - the burning searing pain is constant and awful and affects every minute of my day and night.
You can take Prilosec twice daily if your acid is bad and yours sure is. TRry taking one in the morning and another before bed - if it starts to help after a week or so you could drop down to one a day. The important thing is trying to get the acid under control so that your throat stops swelling and hurting.
The Dr. wants me to switch from Prevacid (which is giving me major migraines) to Aciphex and then we discuss other medications/treatments after my tests. I have had constant non stop burning reflux since 4/17 (I had had it off on prior to this for a few years but nothing even close to the pain and suffering of the past almost 2 months).
