They ran thyroid tests at the ER when he had his first spell. They said they were fine. He went to the Dr yesterday and he said he had GERD and put him on a med called AcipHex. We aren't entirley happy with the results because it does not explain the Shivering. We may go get a second opinion if the meds don't clear it up, or he has another shivering spell. He is over weight for his age, he has been trying to loose weight and has dropped a few pounds. With him being over weight I really don't feel like it is hyperthyroid.
