Has anyone ever been physically sick from this? (Addiction & Recovery board)

6th August 2007
I've been reading about people taking a whole lot of pills and I'm just wondering if taking that many pills ever made anyone physically sick? That's happened to me a couple of times and it just happened the other day. I had taken a few more norcos than I usually do and then added some percocets on top of that and I was throwing up for a few hours. I really think it was from taking too much acetaminophen but that's just a guess. I sucked so bad.... during that time I was thinking that the high from the pills just was not worth the trouble but of course this only lasted for a few hours and now I feel fine so that high sounds good again.

Anyhow, I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else here...

Anyhow, I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else here...What's probably happening is all the acetominophen is overloading yoiur liver - sending your digestive system into full revolt. Stop it, right now. Acetominophen in large doses can cause liver failure, and trust me - you can't live without a liver! The opiates can also be upsetting your stomach. I have taken oxycodone (opiate from percs) and hydrocodone (from norcos) without any problem together.
