Several years ago when I was 14 in 2003, I started to develop a severe case of acne. Only 2 months later, my growth came to a complete stop. My lack of physical development soon followed. Now, it has been about 4 years since all this happened, and I have not shown any signs of growth or development whatsoever.

Last year, I went on Accutane, and it did help, but it only worked while I was on the treatment. During the last few months of 2006, I slowly started getting acne back. My acne made a complete return in January 2007.

Since about last year, I made an interesting observation regarding my developmental problems and my acne. Both occurred around the same time, and the two problems coexisted. I think my acne still would have existed in 2006 if it weren't for the Accutane. But anyway, I think that there might be a connection between the two problems. I think that perhaps my acne is merely a symptom of my developmental problem.

I don't really know how or if the two are related, but I know that something very strange is going on. Both problems have coexisted, and neither show signs of going away on their own.

I did some research on hormones and acne, but the main thing that comes up is women hormones and acne problems. I'm a guy at 18 years old. Is it just women that get hormone problems or not? Or perhaps I'm looking at this situation the wrong way. Any help would be appreciated.
