I've been taking Norvasc for a few years now with no problems. My first doctor started me on 5 mgs then I changed doctors and the next one put me on 10 mgs but my blood pressure still wasn't low enough so I started taking Accupril and it seems to be working.
rc998 You've got white coat syndrome. Take your blood pressure monitor with you when you see the doctor and if the reading is the same as the doctor is getting you monitor is fine. I had white coat syndrome with one of my doctors.
